Bhairahawa Cafe was born on January 15, 2023, from a simple but powerful idea — to create a place in the heart of Bhairahawa where life could slow down, where friends could gather freely, talk endlessly, and feel completely at ease. What started as a shared dream among a group of friends has grown into one of the most loved and happening spots in Siddharthanagar.
On January 15, 2023, a shared dream among friends became real. Bhairahawa Cafe opened its doors at Buddha Chowk — a space built not for profit first, but for people first. A place to hang out, laugh freely, talk for hours, and feel completely at home. From day one, the city welcomed us with open arms and full hearts.
Within our first months, Bhairahawa Cafe became part of the city's daily rhythm. Early morning coffee before work. Long afternoon conversations between friends. Late-night meetups that stretched on for hours. Students, families, working professionals, and travellers passing through to Lumbini — everyone found a seat and a warm welcome.
As our community grew, so did our commitment to it. In 2024, Bhairahawa Cafe became the first cafe in Bhairahawa to open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — 365 days a year without exception. Night owls, early risers, travellers arriving at odd hours, students studying through the night — everyone always had a home here. Bhairahawa never sleeps, and neither do we.

In May 2026 — three years of love, growth, and thousands of shared moments — we reached our biggest milestone yet. We expanded with a brand new restaurant, larger in capacity and deeper in experience. We introduced an authentic Thakali dining experience rooted in the rich culinary traditions of Nepal's Mustang highlands. Traditional Thakali dal bhat sets, slow-cooked curries, house-made achar, and pure Himalayan flavours. Your favourite cafe and Bhairahawa's finest Thakali restaurant, now under one roof.
